  1. Should have enrolled in NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or above in construction within 2 years.
  2. Pass CITB Health Safety and Environment Test.
  3. This card cannot be renewed.
  4. Red Apprentice card is valid for 4 years and 6 months.

Eligibility Criteria for CITB Operative or Specialist Test

  • Profession or Trade – Any specialization required
  • Eligibility – Aged 16 or above, should have an apprenticeship letter either from employer.
  • Working as – Must be on an accredited apprenticeship scheme.
  • Card Validity – 4 Years 6 Month and cannot be renewed.
  • Knowledge Required – Health, safety and environmental knowledge.
  • Test Duration – 45 Minute
  • Type of Test – Computer test also known as touch screen test. Check your nearest test centre
  • Question – 50 multiple choice
  • Pass Marks – 45 Out of 50
